Accountant
Established in 2005, our client provides independent business enablement solutions for global financial markets within Financial Services. Our client, who we are so proud to represent, is based in Sandton and they are looking for Accountant to join their team of superheroes! The Accountant will manage the full-spectrum accounting functions and tax compliance across multiple entities.
Location: Sandton
Salary: R30 000 – R35 000

Minimum requirements | Qualification, Experience & Skills:
BCom Accounting degree, or similar (non-negotiable).
Minimum of 3-5 years working experience in the Financial Services Sector as a bookkeeper/accountant.
Experience with SAGE essential.
Proficient in Excel.
Tax and SARS experience required.
SAICA / SAIPA articles completed highly advantageous.
Duties, not limited to:
Maintain accurate financial records
Prepare annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
Manage accounts payable and receivable, performing reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
Ensure tax compliance by preparing and filing returns while staying updated on regulations
Conduct regular bank reconciliations, identifying and addressing discrepancies
Support external audits by providing documentation and necessary financial insights
Implement and monitor internal controls to maintain accuracy and regulatory compliance
Liaise with departments and vendors to ensure smooth financial operation
